Job summary
To assist in the provision of quality evidence based practice, within a busy A/E department and Acute wards. Providing advice; support and care, liaising with other agencies under the guidance of the Mental Health Liaison Nurses for Service Users and their families who present often in a distressed state with complex mental health needs and Social difficulties .

In line with recent UK Government updates, which came into effect 9 April 2025, the minimum salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas, including the Health and Care Visa route, has increased to £25,000 per year. To assist in conducting clinical risk assessment of service users, help to identify early signs of relapse by monitoring the clients progress, providing effective advice, guidance, and decision making process. Reporting and recording any changes in service users mental/physical/emotional state to qualified staff culminating in the coordination of any reviewed plan of care.ontribute Mental Health Liaison (MHL) information and deliver feedback to the team, inpatient ward reviews, case conferences without the need for direct supervision.
