Join our supportive and dynamic Community Mental Health Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, where we strive to deliver high quality care, in the right place, at the right time, every time.About the RoleAs a Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will:
Act as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team.Manage your own caseload with supervision from senior staff.Conduct specialist assessments and develop care plans under the Care Programme Approach.Administer depot medication (for registered nurses).Liaise with multi-agency professionals and participate in duty team assessments.Support service users with severe and enduring mental illness, including crisis planning and risk management.

What We're Looking ForEssential:
Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.Commitment to continuing professional development.Strong interpersonal and clinical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
Desirable:
Experience in CPA care coordination.Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983.Post-basic qualifications and mentoring experience.
