Job summary
Are you a skilled clinical leader who is committed to supporting the workforce? At LSCFT we have an exciting new role of Enhancing Practice Lead which will support our workforce to deliver safe and effective practice via the use of supervision and restorative practice.
The post holder will be an experienced and highly skilled, nurse leader with extensive and recent experience in relation to supervision and will be required to provide leadership and expert advice in relation to supervision and the PNA role. This role will be the lead for the implementation of the PNA program within the Trust and will hold responsibility for the coordination of training and delivery of an improvement plan.
Main duties of the job
o Support staff through a continuous improvement process to build personal and professional clinical leadership, improve quality of care delivery.o Work with qualified PNA's in training to support, organise and coordinate activities to develop and embed the role and restorative frameworks into practice.o Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate care, acting as a role model to others in all aspect of their work through consistently demonstrating the trust valueso Contribute to the implementation of Culture of Care Programme within the trust through supervision and restorative support to ensure that patients and staff feel wards are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for and fulfilling places to worko To work as part of the Nursing and Quality Team to ensure appropriate quality assurance mechanisms in supervision practice are in placeo Develop effective communication strategies within LSCFT and all professionals involved in this area of work.o Support the Nursing population in the application of restorative frameworks, policy and implementation of LCFT quality objectives. Tovsupport LCFT and its nursing workforce to ensure internal and professional requirements for supervision are in place.o Enable networks through a collaborative approach to have ownership of supervision and the PNA role within the clinical services provided to ensure that all staff have access to supervisor and which is restorative where necessary.
