An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding and highly supportive inpatient team as a Clinical Mental Health Pharmacist.
The post is based at The Harbour Hospital in Blackpool, covering a range of Mental Health wards including Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, Acute Admissions, Dementia, Elderly, Advanced Care Wards and a 136 suite.

Main duties of the job
The post will provide an opportunity for the following:o Pharmaceutical care planning and clinical review of prescriptionso Involvement in multi-disciplinary ward roundso Provision of medicines information to service users and staffo Opportunity to experience pharmacy practice across in-patient services and community teamso Supporting development of robust medicines management processeso Actively working to deliver the Trust medicines optimisation strategyo Ensuring compliance to GPhC standards for dispensing.o Clinical audit.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
