Job summary
An interesting and varied vacancy has become available for a qualified Band 4 Associate Nurse Practitioner. The role will be in the Community Mental Health Team function within the wider Older Adult integrated Mental Health services.
Main duties of the job
The core responsibilities of the post will be to oversee and monitor your own caseload and support senior staff in delivering quality care and treatment programmes to patients with mental health challenges. Supervision will be provided to support you in the role
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about the role and, its development, and be driven to provide excellent mental health services to the local older adult population.
In addition to core professional skills, the post holder will also be expected to undertake a range of other generic clinical duties to support the team functions and be responsive to the needs of patients, their family and carers
The role will involve working within a MDT to support older adult mental health service users in the community to remain at home and prevent hospital admission.
