Job summary
We are excited to be advertising for an additional substantive HR Advisor to support our team working 24 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is able to provide an effective and professional HR Advisory service, demonstrating the Trust values and contributing towards the People & Organisational Development Directorate's Strategic Priorities.
The ideal candidate will build excellent working relationships, support the networks to achieve their workforce KPIs and develop effective people management practices advising, guiding and coaching managers on Trust policies and processes.In addition, this role will provide opportunities for policy development, organisational change programmes and training and other HR project work and activities as part of the wider HR team.
This role will support our network and corporate teams across the Trusts Lancashire & South Cumbria footprint, with a hybrid working approach, combining working from home with working on our key Trust sites.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be a key point of contact for managers, using a coaching approach, you will help them to deal with a range of employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, performance management and organisational change programmes.
You will take responsibility for supporting effective investigations, working closely with investigating officers throughout the process, ensuring timescales are managed.
You will use Microsoft Teams, email and phone to provide a range of HR advice and where appropriate you will meet with managers and staff face to face. There will also be opportunities to get involved in proactive HR work such as delivering training and policy development.
Developing effective relationships within the areas you support will be a critical part of the role as well as being responsive and organised at all times. You will bring HR advisory experience and ideally you will be CIPD qualified or working towards. NHS experience is an advantage but is not essential.
