Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner - Lancaster and Morecambe RITT
An interesting and varied full time vacancy has become available for an innovative and dynamic Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to work in the Integrated Lancaster and Morecambe Older Adult Mental Health Service. The role will be primarily in the RITT team.
The successful candidate will have sound clinical and leadership skills, be enthusiastic about the role and its development and be driven to provide excellent mental health services to the local older adult population.
Ideally applicants should have experience of working with older adults with mental health needs and the ability to lead on assessment and provide treatment plans. They should also have excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
The core functions of the RITT are; Home Treatment and Care Home Liaison. The post holder would be expected to work primarily in the home treatment function to support cover for a 7-day service, within the hours of 8am - 8pm and will require the ability to work flexibly within these hours.
The role will involve working within a MDT to support older adult service users in the community to remain at home and prevent hospital admission. Please see the job description for further details about the role and expectations.
