Team Leader - Early Intervention Service (In Psychosis)

Band 7, Full time, Permanent Fylde Coast locality

We are really excited to be seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individuals to join a well-established Early Intervention Service. The Lancashire and South Cumbria EIS (Early Intervention Service) specialises in working with individuals aged 14 and upwards who are at risk of, or currently experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

The Early Intervention Service is focussed on achieving national quality standards and delivering a high standard of care. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable applicant to be part of the developments within LSCFT Early Intervention Services in Fylde Coast area.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will lead on the development of the Fylde Coast Team. , to implement and deliver these changes whilst maintaining the philosophy of EIS and the promotion of recovery. They will be a key member of an enthusiastic management team with a commitment to improvement and innovative approaches to meet service users' needs.

We place a strong emphasis on professional and clinical supervision in order to support and develop individuals as part of our commitment to maintain our focus on delivering the highest quality clinical service

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

  • Registered Mental Nurse or aligned profession (RMN/OT/SW)
  • Post-registration professional development to degree level in a health-related subject or similar demonstrated experience or willingness to complete.

Knowledge

  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of contemporary practice within EIS / CAMHS services
