Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist to join our Children's Therapy Service working in our Chorley and South Ribble Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking paediatric Physiotherapist looking for their next challenge. This post is suitable for an experienced physiotherapist who has a real desire to work with children and young people between the age of 0-19 providing assessment and treatment on a number of clinical pathways including MSK, Early Years, Coordination Difficulties, Neurological and Long Term Conditions. We operate across a variety of community settings including special and mainstream schools, clinics, and within a home setting.

Main duties of the job

  • Current Professional Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Evidence of formal training / self-study / specialist experience to post graduate level

  • Knowledge of a range of therapy techniques and programmes for children with diverse needs/ related to client group
  • Knowledge of a broad range of assessment tools for children with diverse needs.

  • Evidence of recent and relevant post graduate experience encompassing the specialist field of practice. that demonstrates an in depth knowledge of specialist area/transferable relevant skills
