Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner PrincipalPractitioner for the Podiatry Service to join our Central Lancashire Community Podiatry Service in a brand new advanced clinical practitioner role.
This is an exciting new role across our Podiatry pathway with a focus on Wound Care.We are looking for an AHP with significant post registration experience in the speciality area including having worked as a clinical specialist (Band 7) in area of speciality.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have extensive specialist knowledge of the care and management of patients in area of specialty, experience of collaborative working with a range of multi-agency and inter professional resources, and experience of influencing and enhancing patient care in highly complex circumstances and where information on life changing or limiting conditions/impacts are involved.You will be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and have a first degree/equivalent professional pre-registration qualification in Podiatry, and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or credential equivalent or a professional clinical MSc relevant to post holders area of expert practice.You will possess strong communication and leadership skills and have the drive and passion to innovate and transform services. Along with a proven track record of driving up standards and engaging in service development, and a passion for continuous improvement and research.In exchange, we will support you to continue your advanced development to ensure you are able to achieve your potential as both a senior leader and a clinician.
