Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Community Rehabilitation Team.
The team includes the Falls Service, Community Physiotherapy and Intermediate Care .
We are a team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working closely with the multidisciplinary team to prevent further deterioration in patients' physical functioning and wellbeing. We cover the areas of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist to join our service; with excellent communication skills, who can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills and who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The role involves assessing patients within either an intermediate care setting, or in patient's own homes. There may be a requirement to assess and treat patients within a ward setting on occasions. There may be times when flexible working across other community teams such as Home First and SPoA (Single Point of Access) may be required.
We offer a hybrid work model with the opportunity to complete some work from home.
