Job summary

We are currently recruiting a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the All Age Learning Disability Service.

The post holder will be required to provide high quality administration support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills.

Main duties of the job

You will also require strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a wide range of people including, patients, carers and health care professionals. You will need to demonstrate initiative and be able to work autonomously and have excellent problem solving skills.

The work is varied and interesting and you will need to have the ability to organise your workload effectively to meet the demands of the service.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.

Essential

  • 5 x GCSE grades A-C to include English and Maths
  • ECDL or equivalent competence with IT applications Office administration and/or secretarial qualifications at RSA Level 2 or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
