Job summary
We are looking for highly organised Network Administrator, who holds full responsibility in providing a high quality secretarial and administration support to our Manager(s) within the Pennine Network Leadership Management Team. The role is for a committed Network Administrator to work alongside our Senior Managers and PAs to deliver an efficient and confidential service.
The post holder must anticipate the needs and concerns of their Manager(s). Providing a high standard of administrative role, using their own judgement to resolve difficult situations, whilst making decisions regarding appropriateness and priorities - along with excellent negotiation, diplomacy and interpersonal skills and knowledge of all the relevant administrative and secretarial procedures applicable to the role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial, administration and information service across the Network, and coordinate their activities with other members of the Network Management PA and Administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to a specific hub and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other hubs on various sites as directed by the Network Management Admin Lead to ensure continuity of a quality service.
The post holder would be expected to manage and prioritise their own workload and work flexibly in support of the wider Admin Services Team / Leadership Team, and be capable of working on his / her own initiative, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times. Problem solving is an integral part of the role.
The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach to create and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, across the whole health economy.
The post holder will need to be a team player and a 'completer-finisher', with very strong communication skills and an eye for detail. To act as a first point of contact either by email, telephone, letter, fax or in person, presenting at all times a welcoming, friendly and helpful attitude
