A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist working with the Urgent Care Response Team

We are a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and senior support staff working closely within the 2 hour Urgent Care Response Service to prevent unnessary admission to hospital. We work alongside Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Social Care staff and cover the areas of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble.

We are looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist to join our service; with excellent communication skills, who can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills and who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

The role involves assessing patients within their own home and the team is working towards an integrated approach with our Acute partners at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals

The service operates 365 days a year, 8am-8pm and the successful applicant will be asked to work some evening and/or weekend shifts each month. We can offer 12 hour shifts which will condense working hours over fewer days per week or other more flexible hours.
