Would you like to be part of a service which is innovative, forward-thinking and committed to enabling people who are experiencing eating disorders to recover and discover their potential?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated phlebotomist to join a busy and well respected All Age Eating Disorder Service (EDS). We are a specialist service with five locality teams covering the Lancashire and South Cumbria area, providing excellent opportunities for shared learning and support. This post will be covering the Bay team based at Altham Meadows in Morecambe, and covering Kendal and Barrow. You should be an excellent communicator and team player, with the successful applicant joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including a Senior Family Therapist, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Dietitians, specialist therapists and medics.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to run physical health clinics to children, young people and adults with eating disorders. This will involve taking bloods and other patient observations including weight, height, blood pressure and pulse.

You will benefit from an enthusiastic, hard-working and supportive peer group. The post-holder will receive regular supervision.
