An exciting opportunity has arisen as for a Associate Technical Director who will lead the Trust's Digital technical services at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a highly organised and confident Associate Technical Director who will lead the technical elements of the Digital Directorate to drive forward digital transformation across the Trust ensuring processes, business models and technologies are modernised and digitalised to meet the changing and varying needs of services users and the NHS workforce. The role will translate strategy into practical solutions built around the patient experience and be accountable for the delivery of solution-focused technical programmes. This is an exciting role and opportunity to the Trust's Digital technical services working with a diverse range of clinical services.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Chief Digital & Infrastructure Officer and Senior Colleagues within the Digital Directorate in identifying and harnessing the opportunity presented by technology to deliver the Trust's wider strategic objectives, which includes service innovation and transformation together with improved efficiency and productivity. This part of the role will require the post holder to represent the Trust's and its interests in cross Lancashire Digital collaboration.
The role will lead the technical elements of the Digital Directorate to drive forward digital transformation across the Trust ensuring processes, business models and technologies are modernised and digitalised to meet the changing and varying needs of services users and the NHS workforce. The role will translate strategy into practical solutions built around the patient experience and be accountable for the delivery of solution-focused programmes.
This role will also play a key role in improving and transforming services at a local and system wide level, developing and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure their engagement in designing digital solutions for clinical services around patients.
