Job summary
Applications are invited for a Security Management Assistant to provide support to trusts Security Team. The post holder will coordinate their activities with the Security Management Specialist, to ensure an efficient and confidential service.
The post holder will have a range of security related duties with the delivery of day-to-day activities including auditing, CCTV management and giving advice to clinical teams. The post holder must be a good team player and also have the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to communicate with staff, service users and carers in a professional way, and be computer literate with proficient Microsoft Office skills.
The post-holder will work in line with the Trust's objectives and be expected to make a positive contribution to the provision of Health and Wellbeing Services across the local health economy.
Main duties of the job
Deputise for the Security Management Specialist when required.
Ensures that all security management work is carried out within a professional and ethical framework.
Support the Security Management Specialist to establish and promote local measures to tackle violence against staff and professionals in accordance with national framework and guidance.
Support the viewing and retention of CCTV footage within the Trust within current legislation and guidelines.
Support Trust initiatives to tackle violence and security concerns against staff and professionals in accordance with any National Framework and Guidance.
To support and maintain a pro-active approach to Security Management issues and foster a sound security culture within the Trust.
Promote a pro-security culture within the Trust so that patients and staff accept responsibility for contributing to and maintaining security standards.
