Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Digital Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible individual to join the Technical Support Team. Candidates must have proven technical support experience and have relevant experience in an IT support role or equivalent.
Also having a solid knowledge of IT Applications such as Windows 10, 11, Office, general desktop applications and operation. Thorough specialist working knowledge of IT hardware fault analysis, diagnostics and resolution including experience of supporting mobile devices.
You will be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, be able to problem solve and manage your own time well.
Candidates must have a strong customer focused approach, good communication and interpersonal skills as well as having experience of dealing with customers over the telephone or in person with an ability to work under pressure
Main duties of the job
Assist the IT Service Desk & IT Technician Team Leaders to proactively review the Incident data and assist in the necessary action where needed to meet the KPI's.
Provide technical support over the phone in relation to desktop and software issues. Working with the user, in a multi organisational service ensuring users receive a prompt and responsive service.
Provide Statistical Analysis & Reports for the IT Service.
The post holder will be required to analyse, interpret and compare complex options in relation to, IT service management across the organisation's business, facts or situations for dissemination to a range of audiences.
To undertake other specific specialist projects as identified by the Digital Technical Services Manager and other Senior Managers.
The post holder will be required to assist the IT Service Management Team in managing the Service Level Requirements and Service Acceptance Criteria for internal teams.
