Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medical Staffing Team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to undertake the post of Medical Staffing Administrator.
The post holder should have excellent interpersonal skills, energy, drive and enthusiasm to compliment the Medical Staffing Team. You will need to possess good written communication skills, pay attention to detail and have the ability to produce accurate correspondence.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve carrying out a range of administrative tasks relating to Medical HR, but particularly linked to post graduate junior doctors.
The work of the Medical Staffing department is frequently governed by specific timescales and deadlines, therefore you will need to demonstrate that you can organise yourself and prioritise your workload effectively. An understanding of the importance of data protection issues is crucial.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills and a strong focus on customer service. You will have the ability to work with, and improve, existing processes and systems. With rapidly changing priorities this will require the ability to use your initiative, to manage your own workload and work under pressure. You will have excellent keyboard and IT skills together with experience of effective use of Excel and Word.
