Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist to join ourChildren's Therapy Service working in our West Lancashire Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking paediatric Physiotherapist looking for their next challenge. This post is suitable for somebody already working as a Band 6 in paediatrics or an experienced Band 5 physiotherapist who has a real desire to learn, transfer and develop their skills in Children's Therapy.

The Children's Therapy Service is a community service that is commissioned for ages 0-19. We provide opportunities to develop skills and experience in paediatric MSK, Early Years, Coordination Difficulties, Neurological and Long Term Conditions, all of which are driven by strong clinical leadership. We operate across a variety of community settings including special and mainstream schools, clinics, and within a home setting.

Main duties of the job

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting place to work as a Physiotherapist. We have sound professional structures to lead and inspire our Physiotherapy workforce. We are dedicated to developing our workforce within LSCFT. You will be supported in gaining skills in advanced clinical reasoning and problem solving as well as skills in complex assessment and intervention. Experience in paediatrics is desirable but not essential, you will be supported to develop your clinical competencies alongside permanent members of staff.
