Job summary

South Ribble Community Mental Health Team are seeking to appoint a Band 5 Community Mental Health nurse, which will be based at Pathways Mental Health Resource Centre in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This post provides the opportunity for a forward thinking and experienced individual to develop and implement safe, sound and supportive services that embrace the provision of holistic care. With a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary working and the principles laid out in the Recovery Model, you will need to be an innovative thinker and be able to form effective relationships.

Main duties of the job

You must be a registered mental health nurse with excellent clinical skills. You will also need to have a working knowledge of the care programme approach, risk assessment and management, and the ability to explore issues relating to the impact of health and social needs on mental health and well-being.
