Job summary

We are excited to be extending our team at the RLIS Lancaster and are looking to appoint to B3 Health Care Support Worker posts across the Access and Urgent Pathway, supporting patients both in their own homes, RLI and the Health Based Place of safety.

Main duties of the job

  • You will need to have experience working with patients and Care Certificate of equivalent level learning.
  • You will be able to work with a wide range of people.
  • The teams work 24/7 so you will need to work shift patterns,
  • We work with people and their families and support networks to support people at home and reduce hospital admissions.
  • You will be part of a team of experienced practitioners and you will be supported to develop your role and knowledge.
  • You will receive training and regular supervision.
  • You will be part of the development of the team.
  • You will be kind, caring compassionate and willing to learn.
  • You will work with other community teams and have great communication skills.
  • You will be enthusiastic and keen to work dynamically.
  • You will love working in a fast paced environment in a number of different settings.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
