About the Role- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to medical and clinical teams.
- Manage patient records, appointments, referrals and correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Act as a welcoming first point of contact for families and professionals.
- Work closely with clinicians, nurses and other secretaries to coordinate care and support service delivery.
- Use your initiative to prioritise tasks, solve problems and contribute to service improvement.
- Previous experience in a medical secretary or NHS admin role (Band 3/4 desirable).
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- Caring, approachable manner and commitment to supporting families during pregnancy and the first year after birth.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic patient records is an advantage.

Monday and Tuesday 09:00 - 17:00
Wednesday 09:00 - 12:45
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Medical Secretary who is enthusiastic and person centred who will provide a high quality service that is innovative in practise.
The core business of the service is Monday to Friday between 0900hrs - 1700hrs.
