Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
Lead the Trust's EDI programmes, championing a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice and guidance on all EDI matters to leaders, managers and staff.
Develop, implement and review the Trust's EDI strategy, ensuring we deliver on our People Strategy and statutory obligations.
Oversee EDI data and reporting systems, ensuring data quality, security and compliance.
Engage and empower staff through Trust-wide inclusion networks and events.
Design and deliver impactful EDI training, workshops and leadership development programmes.
Collaborate with senior leaders, staff networks and external partners to promote best practice and innovation.
Support the development of inclusive policies and procedures across the organisation.
Manage EDI budgets and resources effectively.
Role model the Trust's values of Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Respectfulness, Enthusiasm and Support.

- Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in related subject
- Evidence of recent and on-going continuous professional and personal development.
- Masters degree or equivalent experience in a specialist area relevant to EDI
Desirable
- Specialist qualification in relevant field
- Chartered Member of the CIPD
- Leadership development CPD
Knowledge & Experience

- Good experience of implementing EDI and evidence based best practice, process and strategies, including involvement in the ongoing development, delivery and measurement of plans.
- Demonstrable experience of proactively promoting inclusion among colleagues.
- Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering good quality EDI awareness raising, education and training to all levels of staff.
- Ability to produce high quality strategies, policies, reports and related communications.
- Excellent project and programme management to deliver to agreed deadlines.
