Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mid-Mersey First Response Services for a passionate and dedicated support worker to join the expanding service.
This role will involve you supporting service users who present in crisis to obtain support, reach positive outcomes and safety plan with the support of clinical staff. Your role will require providing information and signposting, as well as receiving and escalating referrals from other professionals, family and carers.
You will support clinical staff to provide urgent assessments, empowering service users to take a lead role in their own care and supporting self-determination.
Main duties of the job
To carry out assigned duties, involving supporting and signposting service users, family, carers and other professionals under the guidance and indirect supervision of a qualified nurse.
To report to the qualified nurse any concerns observations made whilst providing care to service-users.
To take part in a 24 hour system of rostering..
