The Medicines Management team is well established with a track record in delivering outcomes, our pharmacy support workers are key to ensuring this happens. The service supports physical health, mental health and community care across a large geographical footprint.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individuals to join our team of pharmacy support workers. We have the following vacancy for a permanent position including flexible working opportunities based at Maghull Health Park.
Main duties of the job
This team is responsible for the receipt, storage, and supply of medicines in line with regulatory standards. This team is also responsible for the ordering, contracting and invoicing of all pharmaceutical products in line with standard operating procedures.

The successful candidates will support the smooth running of the pharmacy stores and procurement services ensuring that medication is supplied safely and accurately, in a timely manner. The post holder may be actively involved in undertaking audit in line with the safe and secure handling of medicines standards. You will be required to undertake a broad range of duties, and an opportunity to rotate across the services gaining experience and skills in each area.
