Job summary
We are currently recruiting for Nursing Assistants in the St Helens and Knowsley locality.
This is the perfect opportunity for those who live local to the services or indeed further afar who are looking to expand on their skills by working for a service that provides a safe and comfortable environment for service users. The services we are recruiting for are based at Peasley cross hospital site and Knowsley resource and recovery centre.
Our mental health inpatient services to adults with severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety alongside people experiencing episodes of mental health crisis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insights in to the organisation and increase knowledge and skills base. There is room for professional development in line with organisational availability.
Main duties of the job
- To carry out assigned duties, involving direct care and observation of service users under the guidance and indirect supervision of qualified staff.
- To report to the qualified staff any observations made whilst providing care to service usersactivities and leisure, providing details of mental state and risk factors.
- To work with service users on an individual and group basis as outlined in the care plan andas directed by the appropriate named lead professional.
