Job summary

An exiting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Transcriptionist Team Leader to join our Administrative Team based at Norris Green Community Hub

The post holder will provide support to Consultants and Junior Medical Doctors in the Learning Disability Team .

Successful applicants will be able to organise their own workload and co-ordinate workload activities with within the team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly telephone manner. There is a need to be able to work to tight deadlines and withstand the pressure of a busy department and it is essential that you are able to work on your own initiative.

Main duties of the job

The post holder's main duties will include planning, organising, directing and co-ordinating the work of the identified service.

The post holder will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision. They will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation, thus enabling the medical team to utilise their time in an efficient and effective manner.

It is essential that confidentiality be maintained at all times. The post holder must adhere to Trust Policies and Procedures at all times.
