Permanent positions across our Community Learning Disability Teams in Mid-Mersey (Halton, Warrington, and St Helens/Knowsley).
37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our community teams across Halton, Warrington, and St Helens & Knowsley, for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists with an interest in supporting adults with learning disability.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will be required to work as part of our established and highly supportive multi-disciplinary community learning disability health teams. Core clinical functions include aspects of assessment, intervention, consultation, clinical team formulation, training, working with and across multi-disciplinary teams and systems, and supporting our programme of audit and research.
You will be joining an established group of clinical psychologists with a wide range of experience and interests. The post holder will receive clinical and managerial supervision, have links to peer psychology meetings and appropriate training and CPD opportunities and an annual personal development review.
Our core operational hours are between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Applicants must be able to be flexible with their working patterns to meet the needs of the service.
IMPORTANT The ability, means and willingness to travel within the community in the course of performing duties is essential in this post. Therefore, the post holder must be able to meet the travel requirements of this post. Please indicate on your application how you meet this requirement.
