Job summary
Following a new wave a funding we have new opportunities for people with a passion to work in CAMHS. These newly created roles will give individuals a fantastic chance to be part of an exciting service that is expanding all the time. We work across 4 areas and 2 hospital sites which means there is lots of opportunities to grow and enhance your skills.
This means we complete emergency assessments for young people as well as continuing to support in the community. We are looking for social workers, nurses, mental health nurses, occupational therapist or anyone with a core profession to join our MDT.
Alongside this there are lots of chances to enhance your skills with training on offer in house and externally. We are a crisis CAMHS service that is working in exciting and innovative ways and we would love to have you on board to work with our passionate and compassionate team.
Main duties of the job
To provide high standards of evidence based client centred care.
To provide case management, clinical assessment and interventions to children, young people and their families with complex mental health needs.
The role will include direct and indirect client work as well as consultation and liaison with other professionals around the specialist clinical area of CAMHS. The post-holder will be engaged in all levels of clinical response from urgent assessments to lower priority cases.
The post holder will be expected to work as a member of the CAMHS Multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
