Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RGN/AHP to undertake a band 7 Clinical Team leader role in Walk-In-Centres. We currently have two positions: Garston & Halewood
The Mersey Care Walk-in Centres assess and treat patients with minor illness and injuries. They are open 8am to 8.30pm 7days per week. The service is nurse led and offers both an appointment or walk-in service. The clinical nurse manager is a joint operational and clinical role within a specified site across the service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is required to have experience in undertaking autonomous clinical examinations, forming a diagnosis and have the ability to treat patients with undifferentiated minor injuries and illnesses. They will also need to provide advice on health related issues, and welcome the challenge of working as an autonomous practitioner.
Qualifications in Clinical Examination/ diagnostic's/ NMP and Supervision are essential for this role.
The candidate must be flexible and have the ability to work across shift patterns and the five Walk-In Centre sites which are open 365 days per year.
The candidates must already have experience as Band 7 walk in centre/ UTC practitioner's with management/leadership experience
