Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Governance team. As Workforce Governance Manager you will work as part of the team providing a comprehensive business and project administrative function across all Workforce functions.

The role is a diverse role that includes engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external of the Trust, working in partnership with Trade Union colleagues as well as Workforce colleagues.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be responsible for the activity of the team ensuring the accurate and punctual preparation of all work, ensuring quality assurance, control and checking mechanisms are adhered to with the agreed timescales. Production of workforce data to support our HR colleagues will be required as well as overseeing multiple group meeting agendas, policy development and Agenda for Change processes.

A sound knowledge of Agenda for Change processes would be beneficial as would an understanding of Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests as well as experience of maintaining risk registers and databases.

You will provide support and advisory services to support the delivery of the objectives of the team. The postholder should have experience of managing or supervising staff as the role includes managing the Workforce Governance team in all aspects of their workload and delegating work accordingly.
