Job summary

The Executive team at Mersey Care recognise the value of pharmacy services and have recently invested a significant amount of additional funding to enable the transformation and expansion of clinical and technical pharmacy services.We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, Secure Mental Health Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pharmacist with a special interest and passion for secure mental health pharmacy.

As a senior pharmacist, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, delivering and developing a comprehensive clinical pharmacy and medicines supply services to the Trust's secure mental health services. The post holder will help us continue to deliver compassionate, high quality, safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical care by providing medicines expertise to multidisciplinary clinical teams

There is a recruitment premium attached to this post. Successful candidates will receive a £2,000 payment on joining the Trust and an additional £2,000 on completion of the first year of employment. This recruitment payment must be paid back in full if the employee leaves the Trust within two years of starting. This is solely for new employees to the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Medicines Management Services have also been restructured to support an enhanced model, working under a newly established senior management team which is fully committed to delivering outstanding pharmacy services and investing in the professional development of the pharmacy workforce.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, Secure Mental Health Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pharmacist with a special interest and passion for secure mental health pharmacy.
