CTCCU is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team. This is a full time position to help support the department with house keeping duties. The post holder will be required to work from Monday to Friday (no weekends, no bank holidays). We are a 31 bedded mixed sex Critical Care Unit.
We are looking for a person who is keen to work with our team, who has good communication and organisation skills to ensure the smooth running of the Unit and to ensure the cleanliness of the unit is maintained. The post holder will work as an integral part of the team to continue to uphold the high standards on the Unit.
The main element of this role is to work as part of the multi-professional team to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment whilst maintaining quality standards.
Main duties of the job

We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper to join our team. You will be working 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
This is an exciting and pivotal role in which you will work closely with the nursing and domestic staff to ensure a safe, clean and organised clinical environment.
Your main duty will be to maintain cleanliness in the work environment in line with Trust Health and Safety policies.
You must be able to empathise with and consider patients as you go about your duties, you will have an organised and positive approach to ensure the tasks at hand are carried out in a timely, effective manner. Able to cope well under pressure, you will utilise excellent communication and team skills.
