Main duties of the job
As a Senior Communications Officer (WTWA), you will be responsible for planning and delivering internal communications and engagement to our 5,000 staff based within the Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham (WTWA) Clinical Group, which is part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with our Director team and senior managers, as the Senior Communications Officer, you will create and execute communication plans that support the delivery of WTWA key priorities.
The role will include:
Plan and delivering effective communication plans for programmes and staff engagement campaigns
Supporting a calendar of colleague engagement events supporting Workforce, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Organisational Development.
Content creation using tools such as Canva.
Delivering plans for internal communications and engagement campaigns
Support the creation of short videos from WTWA Directors to ensure key messages are distributed to staff.
Support leaders to help develop and manage an effective and proactive strategic stakeholder management process to ensure the clinical groups messages are communicated effectively.
Updating and reviewing content across internal channels such as the WTWA internal SharePoint.
