Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to work within our Gynaecology Division as Cervical Screening Programme Lead (CSPL) Admin Support & Colposcopy MDT Coordinator to provide a comprehensive, professional and effective administrative service. This role is crucial in supporting the Cervical Screening Programme and looking after our patients within the Colposcopy service.

The post holder will support the provision of the highest quality patient care through dedicated administrative and clerical support and continuous improvement within our Oncology & Colposcopy Team. The Post holder will support the Cervical Screening Provider Lead, their Deputy and the Lead Colposcopist ensuring the provision of a comprehensive service.

Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service provides Colposcopy across multiple sites, and the successful candidate will be required to work across both Saint Mary's Oxford Road and North Manchester General Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Working with the Cervical Screen Lead and Deputy the CSPL Support & MDT Co-Ordinator will support the provision of the National Screening Programme within MFT in a varied and significant role.

The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings by collating, updating & disseminating clinical information of all Colposcopy patients discussed. This will vary depending on meetings but may include case notes, email trails, referral forms and test results and monitoring/tracking the individual patient pathway from referral to treatment against National Targets. The Co-Ordinator will be responsible for creating a register of clinicians present at each MDT and setting up of any AV links required for successful communication within the meeting.
