Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Physiologist

Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Specialised Respiratory Physiologist to join the team at RMCH, where we are in the process of expanding our paediatric physiology workforce as part of our plans to deliver a world leading diagnostic service for the paediatric respiratory service. The post holder will be proficient in a range of respiratory function and sleep investigations with knowledge and expertise to interpret and report these findings

Main duties of the job

The post holder willassistin the provision of a safe and effective routine and non-routine diagnostic testing service for in-patients and out-patients with respiratory and related diseases.

The post holder will undertake the performance and recording of results andassistwith the interpretation and analysis of these results, consulting with medical staff onappropriate testsand the use of investigations.

  • Professional knowledge in Respiratory/Sleep supplemented by post graduate specialist training to MSc level or equivalent
  • ARTP courses or equivalent
  • AHCS or HCPC registration
