Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity in paediatric oncology, haematology and stem cell transplant and gene therapy as a Senior Locally Employed Doctor at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. The post is designed to give the successful candidate a thorough grounding in paediatric oncology, general and malignant haematology, clinical stem cell transplantation and gene therapies, including CAR-T gene therapies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate through the specialties in their time at RMCH.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post will be as follows:

  • Ward cover
  • Attending outpatient clinics
  • Participating in MDTs
  • Participation in the paediatric middle grade haematology and oncology rota
