On joining the Division Head and Neck, the successful candidate will be part of an experienced team who are committed to providing a high quality booking and scheduling service.

The role of Audiology Administrative Assistant requires attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to use initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, will demonstrate flexibility and will be committed to improving the patient experience. Main duties of the job

The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring patients are seen/treated in a timely manner and in accordance with waiting list principles and relevant target dates as detailed in the Trust Access Policy.

Successful candidate will ensure that all clinics are managed to maximum capacity, escalating shortfalls in line with agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and will ensure all clinic activity is outcomed and actioned in a timely manner so as to prevent unnecessary open registrations.

Using the electronic patient record system known as HIVE, part of the role will be to review the patient task list and proactively manage patient pathways in line with national targets.

The post holder may be expected to contribute to the provision and smooth running of a front of house / reception service, ensuring customer service needs are met in full. This may involve staff supervision.
