We are looking for proactive and efficient Medical Secretary to support the delivery of timely, accurate, and compassionate management.As the first point of contact for referrers and service users, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless access to community health services.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide a comprehensive, professional and medical, clerical and administrative support to consultants, clinical leads and/or community team(s). The post holder is expected to be aware of speciality typing requirements using their own initiative with guidance from clinical services. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point requiring clear communication and liaison skills.
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team at a community base and provide cross cover during periods of staff absence.

- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Word processing - Qualified to RSA II/NVQ level 3 Business Admin or equivalent qualification / demonstrable skills (60+ wpm at 95% accuracy).
Desirable
- European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent qualification.
- Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists (AMSPAR) Medical Secretarial Diploma.
