ID Office Administrator

Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for operating and monitoring the ID Badge and access control facilities on the MFT (ORC) site and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ID office and systems. The post holder will be required to enforce ID and access control requirements in line with the Trust's Security Management Policy.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the provision of an informed and managed ID Badge and Access Control service in a courteous and efficient manner.

To provide comprehensive and efficient administrative and clerical assistance and to work as part of a team reporting to the Deputy Security Manager (ORC).

To assist the Deputy Security Manager (ORC) with ID Badge administration functions within the department, to identify and actively participate in the development of new methods to ensure that the service is both cost effective and efficient.

To deal efficiently and effectively with a wide range of enquiries from within and outside the NHS whilst promoting and developing good relationships and a positive image.
