Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this is a high-profile role for a high-quality individual.
A senior professional manager working at corporate level across the organisation and with external stakeholders, you'll play a key role in supporting the Chief Nursing Officer, to deliver Nursing & Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals business objectives, by providing confidential, business and project management support, facilitating effective and efficient internal operations. You will be positively challenged, working at pace across a wide range of workstreams and will directly support the team to carry out his / her duties and decisions, ensuring that they can focus their time effectively on vital issues, can make effective timely decisions, and that actions are implemented within the necessary deadlines. A truly varied and fulfilling role that will make a real mark on your CV.
The role offers considerable breadth and responsibility, with accountability for several deliverables, including oversight of high priority programmes of work including development of business cases & reports. You'll work at scale, both operationally and strategically and above all, independently.
Main duties of the job
Educated to master's level or with equivalent experience, you'll hold in depth specialist knowledge and expertise across a wide range of disciplines including both performance & project management. It goes without saying you'll need to be highly skilled in building and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, with the ability to skilfully influence & negotiate matters using high levels of tact & diplomacy, with the flair, scope, & motivation to plan & prioritise a wide volume programme of work with competing & moving parts & deadlines. What's more, you'll be highly professional & diligent with the maturity to operate within a highly pressurised environment plus be politically astute with a credible and confident communication style. Last but by no means least, you'll have strong IT skills and be highly articulate in developing both written & data reports whilst being adept in analysis & decision making with a supportive, cohesive & can-do attitude where resilience & tenacity comes naturally to you.
