Job summary
The post-holder will develop, automate and streamline regular report processes including current statutory and operational reports. This post will be set within the Patient Services team working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust, and lead on the development of technical solutions to support the organisation.
The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently delivered through the provision of high-quality performance information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, forecasting and intelligent modelling
Main duties of the job
Update, maintain, organise, gather and analyse information to predict/meet future organisational and team needs by identifying best practice.
To provide helpful and considered analysis to support service priorities, making use of and linking information from a range of source systems
To undertake complex ad-hoc analysis this will involve managing potentially contradictory and complex data to ascertain a credible, easily understandable position. The post holder will be expected to present this information to internal and external audiences as necessary
To pro-actively develop regular benchmarking reporting and analysis to enhance understanding of performance relative to other providers.
To aggregate information from multiple sources and across service areas
To contribute to the preparation and delivery of presentations which are clear and appropriate to the purpose and audience

- Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or equivalent professional and management experience.
- Extensive experience within similar role ideally within the NHS or other public sector
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable
- Master's degree in numerate discipline or equivalent relevant NHS experience
Experience/Knowledge

- Experience of development and analysis of information.
- Awareness of data warehouses and data integration.
- Knowledge of SPC.
