The successful candidate will need a good eye for detail and know the importance of working in a confidential environment. Indeed, you will require excellent interpersonal skills and to communicate effectively at all levels and with different audiences.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, flexibility and ability to deliver a first class business management and administration service.

You will deliver excellent business management and co-ordination across the improvement portfolio. with a particular focus on the MFT Improvement Team.

You will work with an influence all grades of medical, nursing and AHP staff and support wider health and social care community teams.

You will support and advise the leadership team in the the planning and organisation of the improvement work programme including:

  • Providing executive assistant support to the Director of Improvement and ensure a high quality business support service to the wider improvement team.
  • Co-ordinating the work programme of the Improvement team
  • Completing the compilation of agendas and papers for committees and meetings.
  • Demonstrating the ability to deal effectively and confidently with people at a senior level and colleagues from across the trust.
  • Co-ordinating a programme of training events including room bookings, managing registrations, undertaking evaluations, preparation of training materials and set up rooms and equipment for these events.
  • Supporting the effective delivery of the improvement communications and engagement plan through co-ordination of content and distribution of communications material.
