Job summary

The WTWA Estates Supervisor has responsibility for Hard Facilities Management (FM) servicesand sub-contracted services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Trafford Hospital, Withington CommunityHospital, Altrincham Hospital, Opal House and associated 'Off Campus' Properties.

Main duties of the job

S/he will beresponsible for ensuring that all buildings, plant & infrastructure are maintained safely and costeffectively within agreed statutory requirements, in accordance with NHS and the Trust's policiesand procedures. S/he will supervise and monitor programmes of work, Compliance, Health &Safety (H&S) legislation and work with the Trust's Energy & Sustainability team to ensure efficientuse of energy, power and utilities services. S/he will deputise for the WTWA Estates Officer inhis/her absence

  • City and Guilds Level 3 Building Services Engineering
  • NVQ Level 3/ ONC in Building Services Engineering,
  • 18th Edition or recognised equivalent qualification in a mechanical/ discipline
  • Evidence of Continuing Learning

  • HNC and HND in relevant discipline
  • Corporate membership of relevant professional body
  • Suitable Building Contract Management Qualification
