Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper to join our team within the Antenatal outpatient service at Saint Mary's at Oxford Road Campus, Manchester.
This is an exciting and pivotal role in which you will work closely with the Antenatal Clinic manager, midwives, support and domestic staff to ensure a safe, clean and organised clinical environment.
Main duties of the job
You will take responsibility for ensuring that all medical equipment is clean and well maintained and will undertake the ordering of stock and equipment for the antenatal clinics , ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
You will be required to assist with gathering feedback from women and their families using the patient experience tracker and friend's and family test. You will also be take part in continuous quality improvement work alongside the rest of the antenatal team.
The role will also require you to work closely with women and their families, providing reassurance and answering any queries they may have.
Educated to a high standard, you might already have some experience in a similar role. You must be able to empathise with and consider patients as you go about your duties, you will have an organised and positive approach to ensure the tasks at hand are carried out in a timely, effective manner. Able to cope well under pressure, you will utilise excellent communication and team skills. You will use IT skills within this role also.
