Job summary

The North West Paediatric Critical Care, Surgery in Children, Long Term Ventilation Operational Delivery Network aims to ensure all children and young people across the region receive high quality, equitable care, and good outcomes at the right place at the right time. Children should be able to access critical care, surgery and long term ventilation services as close to home and as safely as possible. We work across Cheshire and Mersey, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and South Cumbria, North Wales and the Isle of Man.

The ODN works collaboratively with key stakeholders, commissioners and service users to support the delivery, review and development of sustainable, affordable, and high-quality children's services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the team as aManagement Support Officer for a fixed term 12 month period.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative services including personal assistant and project support duties to the Network Director and the Paediatric Critical Care, Surgery in Children and Long-Term Ventilation (PCC SiC LTV) Operational Delivery Network team. This includes arranging meetings, co-ordination of projects, preparing agendas / reports, taking minutes, and ensuring appropriate follow-up of actions.

Main duties of the job

Provide project management / secretarial services to the Network Director, to provide smooth running of the operational and strategic function of the ODN.

Comprehensive communications internally and externally from stakeholders within the ODN. Including contact lists, correct circulation of invitations for meetings and organising and facilitating these events, education days, clinical forums and event sponsorship.

Provide office management for the ODN, including financial support.

Provide project support for the ODN (PCC SiC LTV arms) proactively promote collaborative working across the ODN.
