Job summary
  We are delighted to be able to recruit to a band 6 Haematology charge nurse post on ward 44, within Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The expected hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week, working 7.30-20:00, Monday - Sunday, with rotation of night and days shifts. Experience in caring for patients in a Haematology setting is preferred.
The successful candidate will be required to work clinically and will be expected to assist with education of junior staff, assist with IQP work and maintain the skills and knowledge of new and current staff members.
  Main duties of the job
  You will have a clear understanding of Haematology and service delivery. Your role will involve working clinically within the Haematology department as a band 6. And to assist in the continuing education of junior staff and to assist the ward manager with the safe co-ordinating of the ward and safe delivery of treatments. Your role will be an integral part of the Haematology department and you will be expected to contribute to educational sessions. You will also be expected to contribute towards accreditation and Jacie requirements.
