NMAHP Professional Education Team - Administrative Assistant

Job summary

The post holder will provide a full range of secretarial and administrative duties to the Professional Education and Development Team. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising own workload and coordinating of their diaries and become a vital asset to contribute the smooth running of our team.

Main duties of the job

Provide a fully comprehensive and confidential range of secretarial and administrative services to the Professional Education and Development Team as required, including managing the daily post, emails, typing and preparing routine correspondence and reports.

Provide diary management for the Professional Education and Development Team utilising an electronic diary system.

Managing diary conflicts and agreeing diary appointments and scheduling meetings to ensure the most effective use of the Professional Education and Development Team time in relation to the Trust's activities and priorities.

Take minutes at meetings as requested.

To provide a full administration function to courses facilitated by the Professional Education and Development Team.

Co-ordination of meetings, workshops and events including organisation of agendas, speakers, venues, refreshments, delegates etc, and ensuring timely payment of accounts.

Arrange bookings for conferences and events coordinating travel and accommodation requirements.
