Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our established team of daytime crisis workers at St Mary's SARC, Manchester.
The post holder will provide crisis management for patients that attend the Centre for a forensic medical examination
Candidates must also be aware that there is a future requirement for all SARC staff to provide a DNA sample for elimination purposes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide services to victims of rape and sexual assaultwithin the context of a non-judgmental and confidential service.
They will provide telephone support and information and crisismanagement to clients attending for a forensic medical examination. They will support and advocate for clients throughout a forensic examination.
They will complete safeguarding referrals and onward referrals for support and liaise with medical staff and Police to provide a high standard of care.
They will help to maintain high standards of forensic integrity
